About the Photographer
I am a photographer specializing in outdoor photography, mostly focused on birds, wildlife, and landscapes. I have been inspired by my mother, who was an artist and a teacher with a love of birds. In the last years of her life, she drew a bird a day in the 30 day challenge she took. She used oil pastel crayons and a 6″ x 6″ sheet of paper. She finished about 24 of them. My mom never saw my work – she passed away in 2016 and I began photography in 2018.
I have decided to sell my work not to make money for myself, but to give back to organizations that support conservation, wildlife habitats, and providing all people with basic human needs. I will be choosing a non-profit 501(c)(3) each quarter and will donate 100% of the profit to that charity. I hope to make a positive difference in the lives of all living things that are vital to our ecosystem and continuing life on this planet.
