About My Work
I now live in Delaware but enjoy traveling to see unique wildlife and parks with beautiful plant life and landscapes, using my camera to create beautiful images.
This image was selected for the Rehoboth Art League’s Juried Show in January 2025. I am a member of the Coastal Camera Club in Sussex County, Delaware. I have worked to improve my photos and have competed in monthly competitions, receiving multiple awards.
Love of Nature
After retiring from a technology and management job for a large company in 2018, I was intrigued by Eastern Bluebirds visiting my backyard. My mom had painted them near the end of her life and I wanted them to stay. I created a habitat for them and they successfully produced three clutches of young! My love for birds and subsequently, photography began.
It took time to learn the birds and how to best use the camera and process photos. I met new people, went new places, and was hooked! I also learned there is a huge decline in populations of native species here and abroad. My goal is to photograph and share my knowledge through my work to raise awareness and love for our natural world.
